RankPilot policies

1. Cookies and local storage

RankPilot does not set advertising, tracking, or cross-site cookies of any kind. The service keeps its own working state in your browser's local storage, a built-in mechanism that functions like cookies but is confined to this site and never shared with third parties.

2. What we store and why

Session: after you sign in, a versioned entry (rankpilot.auth.v1) records your workspace session so pages stay unlocked as you navigate. It contains your account email reference — never a plaintext password.

Workspace: audit history, gauges, keyword lists, competitor entries, saved reports, and settings are stored under rankpilot.audit.v1 so your data survives reloads.

Plan selection: the plan chosen during checkout is recorded under rankpilot.checkout.v1 until registration completes.

3. What we do not store

No third-party identifiers, no advertising cookies, no analytics beacons, no cross-site data, and no card or payment information in any form.

4. Longevity

Local storage entries persist between visits until you remove them. You stay in control: reset the demo from Settings to erase product data instantly, or clear site data in your browser to remove everything in one step.

5. Changes

If a future version changes what is stored locally, this page will describe it before that version ships.
