Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the RankPilot platform (the “service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to every visitor and account holder, and to every plan described on our pricing page.

2. What RankPilot does

RankPilot is a website optimization platform for monitoring SEO performance, keyword rankings, competitor visibility, and technical website health. The service performs audits, tracks keyword positions, compares visibility against tracked competitors, and presents prioritized optimization recommendations.

The service presents measurement and recommendations only. It does not modify your website, contact your audience, or take actions on third-party services on your behalf.

All processing runs inside your browser on your own machine. Your metrics, keyword lists, audit history, and settings are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to RankPilot or to any external system.

3. Accounts and access

Accounts are created with an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

Registration is completed as part of selecting and purchasing a plan. Your workspace persists in your browser between sessions until you sign out or clear your browser storage.

4. Plans, billing, and renewals

RankPilot offers three paid plans: Starter, Growth, and Business, billed monthly or yearly. Yearly billing provides two months free relative to the monthly rate.

Plan selection and checkout run entirely within your browser. No payment processor is contacted and no card details are requested or collected by RankPilot.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from account settings; the change applies immediately within your workspace.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain access to other users' workspaces, or misrepresent its results as third-party certified measurements.

Audit results, ranks, and visibility figures are RankPilot's own estimates produced by its measurement engine, and are provided for operational decision-making rather than as certified statements by search engines.

6. Changes and availability

We improve the service continuously; functionality may change as features ship. Material reductions to paid functionality on an active plan are announced in the product and on this page.

We may update these terms to reflect such changes; the current version is always available here with its effective date.

7. Liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankPilot Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost search traffic arising from use of, or decisions made from, the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page at http://localhost:3000/contact.
